Lithuania The Beggining of The Trip.
My day was great! I visited the Geographical Center of Europe. the center was such a sight not looking but just thinking were you are on the map was the cool part. After that we walked down the street finding neat little shops and big chain marts as well. After the little tour I took I went to the hill of crosses; there are over 100,000 crosses on the hill, cool right?! That was really cool i waked around for at least an hour just getting lost in the mystereous hill of crosses. For about five minutes i counted in my head over 2,000 crosses which isnt even a fraction of the place.
My Time In Rega
Today I visited a church in Rega Latvia, called St. Peters. I met people who are Catholic, Christians, Jewish and much more. Some people were very welcoming to there religions, unlike others like the Jewish who in fact if you were not born a jew they didnt want you. The inside of the churches were magnificent some had stained glass others had fancy water falls (small ones of course) and lots more. They take lots of pride in their religions and prayers. I didnt fit in very well but it was a fun expirience learning about different religions.
Night Walks In Villanius
This night I am going on a stroll through Villanus. The lights are so bright and romantic, lucky for me I happened to meet a very pretty Lithuanian girl that was looking for someone to enjoy the evening with. We spent almost the whole night outside untill sunshine appeared. But aside from the people there the town it self was a magnificent sight to see with city lights and peaceful people.
My Dining Expirience
Today I visited a fancy dining place in Rega. I unfortunately but obviously did not fit in. It was very high class which I had no expirience in. The menu they had there was spectatcular, but with spectacular food comes incredible price. I got the fillet minyon which cut a hole 34 dollars deep in my wallet not including tip. I knew one thing which is to keep your head high and your pinkie higher, Cheers!
Final Day Visit To Relatives
On my last day I visited my step moms parents in Rega Latvia. They invited me in with tears of joy. Once I entered they immediatly started preparing a huge feast. It was full of potatoes fried pancakes chicken and other unimmaginable food that I couldnt even dream of. On my last day they bid me a sad good bye and gave me some delicases to take to the U.S. Unfortunatley most of the goods they sent me with had to be tossed or eaten before the plane ride. It was a bummer, I had sausage, mushrooms, chesses and a whole lot of good pastries. But I just handed goods out to people at the airport not wanting to waste such good foods. I have a long flight but finally arrive at D.I.A and head home were I jumped in to bed and went to sleep.
